When you launch a podcast, it’s so easy to get caught up in listener numbers, subscriber numbers and the like.
There’s nothing wrong with this, but this can be a bit disheartening, especially early on.
It also takes a FAR too narrow view of the value of your podcast.
Great podcasts impact people in unexpected ways, which means you need to open your mind to the value it is delivering. I talk about this in the video below.
What’s more important to you; a podcast that connects with people deeply or one that travels far and wide? Usually starting with the former leads to the latter.
